Dr. Ryosuke Nakajima: My name is Dr. Ryosuke Nakajima, and I work across several connected roles as a management consultant, educator, researcher, and founder. My professional foundation has been built in management consulting, where I have focused on digital transformation, CRM, and business improvement initiatives. Alongside this, I pursued doctoral studies, continued my research as a postdoctoral research fellow, and took on teaching and academic leadership responsibilities across institutions in Japan and Europe.
Over time, I realized that my journey was not about choosing between business and academia, but about connecting them. That realization became the foundation of ProfBridge Commons and now the upcoming ProfBridge Platform, which aims to create more practical, international, and action-oriented collaboration between professionals, educators, institutions, researchers, and students.

Dr. Ryosuke Nakajima: What drew me to management consulting was the opportunity to solve real business problems in a structured and practical way. Dr. Ryosuke Nakajima: My motivation came from directly experiencing both business and academia. Through consulting, teaching, research, and academic leadership, I saw the strengths of both worlds, but I also saw the gap between them. There are many highly capable professionals with deep expertise in consulting, technology, finance, marketing, sales, and management, but they often have limited access to meaningful opportunities in education. At the same time, institutions want to provide students with more practical, international, and career-relevant learning experiences, yet finding the right professionals can be challenging.
ProfBridge Commons was created to address that gap. The upcoming ProfBridge Platform is the next step in making this vision more tangible. It is being developed to create a more structured and accessible way for professionals and educators to connect through guest lectures, micro-teaching, mentoring, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration.
