A Journey of Growth
We were interested in learning more about Ruby Sengar’s early life and professional journey, so we asked her to introduce herself and share the experiences that shaped her path.
Ruby Sengar: I’m Ruby Sengar, an author, blogger, and founder of The Healthy Kingdom, and I reside in Fontana, California. I have two wonderful children and one cute dog. I love reading, writing, meditating, and spending time in nature. I was born and raised in Agra, India. My father was a businessman, and my mother was an active and hardworking woman who took care of all four siblings. I graduated with a commerce background and completed a professional course in Corporate Law from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Alongside that, I also completed my LL.B. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra.
I got married before completing my professional course. About a year after our marriage, around the time our son was born, my husband moved to the United States. I stayed in India for another year to complete my degree, training, and certification from ICSI. I joined my husband in the U.S. in 2013, thinking we would return to India after two or three years and I would begin my professional career there. In the meantime, I wanted to focus on raising our son. But life had different plans. My husband received a good opportunity here, and we decided to build our life in the United States.
Not being able to continue the career I had prepared for was frustrating. The legal system here was different, and I couldn’t simply continue in the same field. After receiving my work permit, I joined a network marketing business in 2017. That experience taught me a great deal about health and nutrition, leadership, communication, and working with people. Reading personal-development books was also an important part of that journey. Due to circumstances, I discontinued the business in 2019.
That same year, I started my blog, The Healthy Kingdom, with the desire to inspire and help people. When COVID later affected lives around the world, that purpose became even more meaningful to me. I wanted to share ways people could care for their physical and mental health, explore natural health practices, and grow spiritually.
My work today centers on health, personal growth, and the connection between our thoughts and the way we live. I’ve always been curious about what helps people feel stronger and more at peace within themselves. Over time, that curiosity became writing—first as a way to express what I was learning and then as a way to reach others. I published my first book, How to Use Women’s Powers, in 2022, and I continue to write articles and share ideas that I hope people can use in their everyday lives.
The Inspiration Behind Her Work
We wanted to understand what inspired Ruby Sengar to become an author, blogger, and entrepreneur, so we asked about the motivation behind her journey.
Ruby Sengar: My journey into writing was greatly influenced by my experience in network marketing. I met many different people, and I also began reading a lot of books. I realized that if a book could change my thoughts and perspective, perhaps my words could also bring a positive change to someone else’s life. I wanted to share ideas that had helped me think more deeply about life, health, and our inner strength. Writing gave me a way to do that honestly.
Becoming an author was a major achievement in my life, but I also wanted my words to reach people beyond the pages of a book. Blogging helped me start conversations, and building The Healthy Kingdom gave those conversations a home. I’m still learning as I go, but the desire to help someone feel encouraged, informed, or inspired has stayed with me throughout my journey.

The Vision of The Healthy Kingdom
We were interested in learning more about The Healthy Kingdom, so we asked Ruby Sengar what motivated her to establish the platform and what mission guides it today.
Ruby Sengar: The Healthy Kingdom began with my belief that health is about more than caring for the body. Our thoughts, habits, emotional well-being, and sense of purpose matter too. I created it to share practical health and wellness ideas alongside reflections that encourage people to care for themselves with kindness. Since my college years, I had also dreamed of helping people through an orphanage or another charitable organization. Eventually, my husband and I reached a point in our lives where we were able to start helping others. We began supporting orphanages in Kenya and providing assistance to people in need in India. That purpose has continued to grow. The Healthy Kingdom has now received state approval as a nonprofit organization, and we are completing the remaining steps before expanding our work. Our goal is to support people in need, including children and families, both here and abroad.
Whether through a useful article, words of encouragement, or direct support, I hope The Healthy Kingdom can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. What my family and I have been doing personally, we now hope to carry forward on a larger level.

Health, Mind, and Soul
We wanted to gain Ruby Sengar’s perspective on holistic well-being, so we asked about the role health, mind, and soul play in living a balanced life.
Ruby Sengar: To me, the body, mind, and soul are deeply connected. We can eat well and exercise, but if our minds are constantly overwhelmed, we may still not feel truly well. In the same way, when we make time for reflection, prayer, gratitude, and the people we love, we often find the strength to care for our bodies and face our daily challenges. Balance doesn’t mean doing everything perfectly. It means paying attention to what we need and returning to the practices that help us feel grounded. I believe true wellness comes from caring for ourselves as a whole—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Building a Personal Brand
We were interested in learning about the challenges Ruby Sengar faced while building her platform and personal brand, so we asked her to share her experiences.
Ruby Sengar: One of my biggest challenges has been finding enough time and energy for everything I care about. I’m a writer, but I’m also a mother with a family, a home, and everyday responsibilities. Writing, publishing, sharing my work, and building a platform all require consistency. It can sometimes be discouraging when something you put your heart into doesn’t reach many people right away. Over time, I’ve learned to focus less on immediate numbers and more on whether I’m sharing something honest, meaningful, and useful. I’m still learning how to balance everything, and I think that is part of the journey too.
Finding Strength Through Challenges
We wanted to understand how Ruby Sengar stays focused during difficult times, so we asked her about the sources of motivation that help her keep moving forward.
Ruby Sengar: My faith is one of my greatest sources of strength. I believe everyone has something they put their faith in, and it can come from any religion or spiritual path. When I face a difficult situation and cannot immediately see a solution, I sit quietly and pray. My devotion to Sai Baba helps me pause, regain perspective, and often see the situation with new thoughts and a different approach. I surrender to Him and then try to follow what feels right in my heart. My family is also a big support system for me. When life feels overwhelming, I try to take one small step instead of solving everything at once. I have learned that sometimes motivation doesn’t come before we begin—it comes after we take that first step.

Advice for Aspiring Writers
We were interested in hearing Ruby Sengar’s advice for aspiring writers and bloggers, so we asked her to share the lessons she has learned throughout her journey.
Ruby Sengar: Start with something you genuinely care about, and write in a voice that sounds like you. You don’t need to know everything before you begin. Read, stay curious, keep learning, and be willing to improve your work. It takes time to find readers, so try not to judge the value of your writing only by views, likes, or numbers. If your words help even one person feel understood, encouraged, or inspired to make a positive change, they matter. I always follow one principle: if our thoughts, actions, or efforts bring a positive change in even one person’s life, it satisfies our soul. Writing is the language of the heart; follow the voice of your heart.
