Ignacio Bonasa

From high-powered banking boardrooms to soul-driven stages across Europe and Latin America, Ignacio Bonasa’s journey is anything but conventional. A visionary leader, seasoned executive, and passionate changemaker, Ignacio is the Founder and President of Liderarte, and serves as the President of the European Association for Wellbeing and the European Association of Soulful Organizations, based in Spain.

For more than two decades, Ignacio thrived in the upper echelons of the banking world. He held prestigious executive positions at institutions like Banco Exterior de España, Argentaria, BBVA, and Caja Rural de Aragón. Notably, he served as Regional Director, President of BBVA Dinero Express, and CEO of BBVA Portugal. These roles solidified his expertise in strategy, leadership, and organizational vision. Yet, amid this outward success, an inner voice began to grow louder—whispering that his soul was not aligned with the corporate path he was on.

That whisper turned into a calling.

Ignacio made the bold decision to “turn the table” and begin again. He left behind the corporate world and reinvented himself, blending his professional insight with his deep passion for emotional intelligence, creativity, and human purpose. This leap of faith led to the creation of Liderarte—a groundbreaking organization at the intersection of art, emotion, and leadership.

Today, Ignacio Bonasa is a pioneer of purpose-driven and soulful leadership, dedicating his life to building a new paradigm where authenticity, emotional wellbeing, and human connection define success. He leads initiatives that have touched thousands of lives through transformative experiences and cultural reinvention.

A Holistic Vision of Human-Centered Growth

Ignacio’s areas of expertise are deeply rooted in emotional mentoring, female leadership, talent development through artistic methodologies, and organizational transformation. He is widely known for creating spaces that combine soul, action, attitude, and learning—the four pillars of his proprietary 4A model.

His academic foundation is as impressive as his career. Ignacio holds a Law Degree from the University of Zaragoza, an MBA from ICADE, and a General Management Program (PDG) from IESE Business School. He has also earned specializations in Financial Marketing and Corporate Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid and Polytechnic University of Madrid respectively.

He has partnered with IBEX 35 companies, multinational corporations across healthcare, technology, pharma, and education, and collaborated with universities, hospitals, and public institutions throughout Spain and Latin America. His client base is diverse, yet unified by one goal: building more human, emotionally intelligent, and conscious organizations.
