At TheLeaders360, we love exploring the journeys of visionary leaders who are shaping conversations across the globe. Today, we sit down with Preity Üpala — an entrepreneur, speaker, columnist, and global thought leader whose life story spans continents and cultures. From her early years to her role as founder of The Omnia Group, Preity shares her insights on leadership, mindfulness, global issues, and the power of authenticity in today’s world.
A Global Citizen with a Purpose
We were curious about Preity Üpala’s background, so we asked her to share something about her early life.
Preity Üpala: Life has been kind to me. I always say: I was incubated in the middle east, turbocharged in Australia, elevated in India, and launched in the USA. I truly am a global citizen and everything I do in my life reflects the values imbued in me by my life experiences. I grew up in the middle east and Europe, studied in Australia before moving to the US to follow my Dharma- purpose in life. All my wild adventures around the world and being around different cultures and religions has expanded my worldview and provides me empathy towards the fellow human being. I see myself as a bridge between the East and West, between India and the US and between the spiritual and the worldly. I am an ambassador of peace, love and human connection and feel honored to be able to do this day in, day out.
Inspiration Behind The Omnia Group
We wanted to understand the inspiration behind The Omnia Group, so we asked Preity Üpala what motivated her to found it and what she envisions it will disrupt or transform.
Preity Üpala: The OMNIA Group is a Global brand with multi-faceted function such as entertainment, media as well as policy and research. My goal with OMNIA was to make sure it was international in nature and yet very human in its operation, showcasing a new global framework. We live in an Omni polar world and there is a changing balance of power taking place. Omnia showcases this on the global stage with resources and tool on how the governments, nations and indeed citizens can cope with this emerging new world. The next decade will be the most turbulent in this century perhaps and at the heart of it all is the inability for humans to understand and respect each other. For nations to respect and accept the others. For leaders to acknowledge and express gratitude to the others. I feel OMNIA can really part a pivotal role in its own way to effect global transformation and cohesion.
Balancing Multiple Roles
Preity Üpala wears many hats—entrepreneur, speaker, columnist, and media personality. We asked her how she balances and connects these diverse roles.
Preity Üpala: I am honored that I get to be muti-faceted and diverse in what I do. All the hats I wear, whether it is being a speaker, writer, producer or a thought leader are equally rewarding. There is a throughline with everything I do and that seems to weave through the fabric of my greater dharma. I feel my brand stands for elevation, global and bringing the world together. These core values are always manifest in all my projects. We live in a world at a time where there is incredible overlap amongst each other.
Tailoring Messages for Global Audiences
With a public presence that spans TV, print, and global stages, we asked Preity Üpala how she tailors her message to connect with diverse audiences.
Preity Üpala: I try to be as authentic as I can possibly be. When you are being your authentic self, the truth always comes out and the message is delivered as pure as it should be. I don’t calculate each message. I feel when I’m being my true essence, the right message for the right audience at the divine time comes through. All I must do is to my truthful and present. Whether it is my writing, a talk, an image, or a video, they all convey what I would like to the audience with. One experience that moves me a lot is all the webinars and lectures I was able to give during COVID. I took the opportunity to go digital and had the privilege of giving lectures to over 100,00 students and young leaders all over. Knowing that something you have done may have positively affected someone on the other side of the world is immensely joyful. I hope to continue to speak to audiences and participate in panels, debates and important discussions of matters that affect us all.

Most Rewarding Speaking Moments
As a keynote speaker, Preity Üpala has addressed audiences across the globe. We asked her to share the most rewarding experience from her speaking journey so far.
Preity Üpala: I have been privileged to have spoken at 25 countries around the world. Each one is special in its own way. But two of the talks stand out for me. I feel they have had the most impact on the audiences. One was at the HORASIS Global summit in Dubai, UAE where I chaired and hosted the closing plenary on the future of Capitalism. I had 3 billionaires on the panel as well as 2 global CEO’s and a philanthropist. We debated social capitalism and if capitalism can be used for the greater good of humanity. Unique and diverse solutions popped up in that session on how to better use money and power to truly make a difference. I will never forget the number of people that came up to me including ambassadors, diplomats, royalty and top CEO’s who let me know I had made them think.
The other keynote I’m most proud of was at a freedom/libertarian summit in Las Vegas where I had a fireside deep dive into the future of peace. We specifically looked at the Israel-Gaza conflict and what the solution to lasting peace may be. I wasn’t taking sides but bought to light the need to humanize the other. I’ve never had so many strangers thank me for that discussion. These are moments when you know you voice truly touches people.
Choosing Value-Driven Brands
Having served as a brand ambassador, we asked Preity Üpala how she selects brands that truly align with her personal values and global vision.
Preity Üpala: the two most favorite things I love are international travel and spirituality. I try to imbibe these in anything I’m associated with. I have worked with various travel and hospitality brands before and that is always fun and rewarding. Partnering with jewelry and beauty brands that are global and elevated are also really rewarding.
Advocating for Global Change
We were curious about the global issues closest to Preity Üpala’s heart, so we asked her how she advocates for change through her platform.
Preity Üpala: As I have travelled across 100 countries, I’ve learnt that human beings are all the same; they want the same things: they want to be heard, to be seen, to be respected, to be valued, to be understood, to be loved and to simply exist in all their glory. It pains me to see the state of the world today with division, hate, bigotry and discrimination. I aim to promote engagement and cohesion globally through the various aspects of my platform.
Mindfulness in Leadership
Mindfulness and self-awareness are vital aspects of leadership. We asked Preity Üpala what role they play in her day-to-day leadership practice.
Preity Üpala: It hasn’t been lost on me that what we do affects the world around us. Im mindful of the effect I can have on people. We effect people in ways we will never know. Your words will have an impact on others whether you like it or not.
It’s incredible to have a high level of self-awareness because it means you are being honest and acting with integrity.
Vision for The Omnia Group
Looking ahead, we asked Preity Üpala about her long-term vision for The Omnia Group and how she hopes it will influence the world.
Preity Üpala: I envision that OMNIA will be a global source for information and resources surrounding the emergent new world we all live in.
Advice for Aspiring Thought Leaders
In today’s crowded digital world, many aspire to become thought leaders. We asked Preity Üpala what advice she would give to those trying to build a strong and authentic voice.
Preity Üpala: Be yourself, as everyone else is taken! Authenticity is the most important quality that people Look for today in a brand or a leader.
